Nicolas Muller on Nike Snowboarding

Nicolas Muller has signed a with Nike snowboarding (boots and outerwear) but continues to ride for long-time snowboard sponsor Burton snowboards. Nicolas Joins a growing team of heavy hitters over at Nike who, since bringing on ex-pro Bobby Meeks as team manager, have been building one of the most respectable well-rounded teams that money can buy.

Nicolas Muller "After Nike snowboarding approached me I was granted access to the company and saw that their ideas and values that they stand for are in par with mine (considereddesign.com). Even though Nike is a global company, their snowboard program is kept core and rider driven. We have common views and I feel that I can bring in a lot of my ideas not just from a design point of view but also from an ethical standpoint. I saw that they realized that it's all about the athletes health and sustainability and not about the short term victories. I'm very motivated to enter a new chapter in my career and even more stoked to keep riding for the company that makes the best snowboards in the world - Burton."

Bobby Meeks - Nike snowboarding marketing:  "I always admired Nicolas' riding. It's rare to see a rider with so much soul on the mountain. I'm very proud to have Nicolas on our team."

Nike Snowboarding is: Nicolas Muller, Gigi Ruff, Danny Kass, Loiu Vito, Justin Benee, Eric Jackson, Austin Smith , Laura Hadar, Annie Boulanger.

When will there be a Down Under rider on the roster? Well we talked to Nike Australia a few months back and they claim they are "in no rush to start a snowboarding team or bring in snowboarding boots just yet". Stating they were more focused on Nike 6.0 in Australia and pushing BMX and motorcross.

So in the meantime you will have to get your Nike Snowboard product O-S.
